Further model railway layouts confirmed
Messe Dortmund has further new additions to announce when it comes to model railway layouts. Numerous dedicated associations, clubs and enthusiasts from Germany and other European countries want to present their extraordinary layouts to a broad and interested public at INTERMODELLBAU.
GermaNTRAK e.V., for example, is one of them. The association is travelling to Dortmund with a display layout, parts of which are a German premiere. It is an N-gauge layout in modular design according to the American NTrak standard. The layout consists of a total of over 30 modules and is divided into two circular layouts. The main circle consists of different sections of the North American landscape. The highlights of the layout: the revised ‘BlueBridgeCrossing’ combination with two new 3‘ curves, a constant change of different train combinations, a new 8’ curve and the Cinema City, a fictitious city in which well over 80 scenes from film and television are immortalised, and the still young corner module ‘Area 51’. At least six trains are constantly on the move on the show layout.
>>> Model railway fans should also make note of an important date: Gebr. Märklin & Cie GmbH will present their spectacular new AC/DC Rock n roll Train on the first day of INTERMODELLBAU (10 April) at 15:00 hrs.
