Steam model building
At INTERMODELLBAU, a real miniature steam train on a scale of 1:10 drives through the hall and takes you on a journey through the miniature world. With a full 1.5 to 2 HP, the small locomotive can easily pull adults and children. Models of historical steam locomotives, steam engines and an impressive garden railway with real steam on a scale of 1:22.5 are also on display at the Steam Model Building Friends NRW.
Railway model building
In addition to the latest innovations from the model railway industry, you can also expect numerous and unusual railway systems in all common gauges from Germany and abroad. For example, the top manufacturers Märklin and Faller will be participating with various systems and dioramas. The N-Club International e.V. (NCI) will also be presenting a system. For this year's INTERMODELLBAU, the club, together with the network ‘Christliches Modellbahn-Team’ (cmt), has put together a 4.7 x 14.5 m railway system under the motto ‘Southern Germany’. Other systems show, for example, scenes from a winter landscape or a railway depot.
